Bolton schools are getting a much-needed boost in infrastructure with the allocation of £53.5 million from the government's Condition Improvement Fund (CIF). This funding is a crucial step towards ensuring that these schools are safe, secure, and conducive to learning. To address these issues, the school will be installing higher-security fencing, CCTV cameras, and an upgraded entry system, providing a safer environment for students and peace of mind for parents. Another notable recipient of the funding is Bolton Muslim Girls School, which will be relocating classrooms from a temporary block to a refurbished ground floor in the school's mill building. Bowness Primary School has also been successful in securing funding for two separate projects: replacement fire doors and new fencing.
