Synopsis
A pledge between a sergeant and an interpreter must be upheld at all costs
US Army Sergeant John Kinley cannot forget the kindness shown to him by his Afghan interpreter Ahmed. When Kinley is ambushed and left to die, Ahmed carries his body across harsh terrain in order to save his life. Safely returned to the US, Kinley owes Ahmed a great debt. When the Army Sergeant learns that Ahmed and his family were never given safe passage to the US as they were promised, he begins a chain of events that leads him to fulfill his pledge, his bond, and his commitment.
