The connection is still very slow occasionally while using the app. The web one is alright

This app is one of the better manga readers on the App Store. Its pros are that the UI is simple and intuitive, and there catalogue of books is quite expansive. Moreover, books in your favourites list will be marked when they are updated and pushed to the top of the page for easy access. Cons: Bugs: often times when I try to read older chapters of a manga, the pages will take longer to load, and sometimes even fail entirely. One workaround I’ve discovered is to go to the settings, clear the cache, and then kill and restart the app. Even though this works almost always, the fix is not permanent and the issue often returns after a while. Content-wise: I would love a download function so that I can read my mangas even when my connection is spotty or even nonexistent. All in all, I personally think the app is worth the 1-time payment for no ads, and will definitely keep using this app four a long time.

Edit: since a few weeks ago, the app has been performing a lot worse - plenty of crashes and stuck loading screens. At times after crashing, it will also forget your reading history, meaning if you don’t remember the name of the manga you were reading and which chapter it was, you’re out of luck. At this point one of the only reasons I’m still using this app is sunk cost fallacy.

Was enjoying the app. No issues. Not a single one… I had purchased to get rid of ads.

And recently the app is so slow and refuses to load the Home Screen, refuses to load any manga/manwha/manhua. On a perpetual loading screen. Refreshing the app and uninstalling and redownloading doesn’t remedy the problem.

Currently its 2 star if they fix it I’ll change it.

Every time I go to open the app it it closes the app

When I try to read my fav manga it loads to long and I keep refreshing it and it still won’t work please can you fix this issue

The functionality and vastness of the library is awesome! But it takes forever to load chapters and it often crashes if I open a different app (like checking my messages). And the sort updates functions in my favourites don’t really work.

Can you put colour on the mangas I wanna read if that’s already a think I can’t find it if it’s not maybe it could be added?

I lost all my favourites, and now it’s endless loading

A new manga came out recently, wail of weakness, but half the images have been randomly replaced with p*rn.

Why? Just why would that happen?

Would like to rate higher because it is very easy to use, but the app won’t let me pay for the add remover and is very annoying

Great app, easy to use, a little outdated looking but works great.

Only issue so far for me, doesn’t have cloud save or the possibility to drop off from one device and pickup on another, which in my opinion would make this the best manga reader out there.

It’s a good app that preforms well and does what you want. The only thing I want them to add is the ability track what I’m reading on multiple devices. So my iPad knows what I’ve been reading on my iPhone and back and forth.

The app has a few good features which include:

Fast loading times

Saving reading orientation between different manga/manhua/manhwa

Having all the ones I normally read available

However, it lacks the “pull to go to next chapter” function, where you can simply swipe at the last page to go to the next chapter.

Instead, you need to tap the arrows to go to the next chapter, which is much less convenient. If the devs could implement the above, this app would be perfect.

Chapters are continuously not loading, very buggy

I really love using this app to read mangas w/o getting a virus but the problems lies where sometimes I go on the app and it kicks me out straight after I clicked on a manga page? Then if I retry over again it kicks me out till the point I have to re-download.

I really like using this app, bought the no ads and everything because it seemed worth it. I slowly start to question that though because unless you only read the popular manga here there are a fair few manga that will not load at all on this app no matter how many times I restart it, so I just may as well access it online instead. If you fixed this one bug this app would be perfect but it’s seriously a problem, I had to reload the app 4 times and clear cache twice just to read a dress up darling chapter.

Worked fine for few weeks then most mangas do not load at all. I even paid for the ad free, waste of money.

I love this app, easy to use. Only thing Is that I can’t sync my favourites to my other devices such as iPhone to iPad -Vice versa.

I tried to read demon slayer again but it doesn’t open and just keep on loading. I paid for the $15 for no ads but this is the consequences of it

Really good bc its free and doesnt involve a subscription. Only thing is that there are ads(family friendly ones).

Also 10 second add after every chapter. When did this became normal??

Seems easy and simple to use - ads are brutal but its not so expensive to pay them away

This is the best app I have found so far, a great range of classic and new series. Easy to use

Pages load so slow or not at all. Other than that, it’s good.

Will play video adds if you do not buy the add free version

The content is okay but the amount of ads is unbelievable

I had a major breakdown when I couldn’t transfer the mangareader app, the pinkish red app with the m, to my new phone because it had access to all the different sources, I’m happy to say this app has finally replaced that app, though I’ve got about 300+ manga on the other one, the transition from old to new phone is so much better

Good selection but interface not ideal.

Ads were already intrusive enough, but now they’ve started to do pop up ads while you are in the middle of reading. Very unfriendly user experience.

It’s a great app for reading manga

The only issue I’ve had is that pressing next at the bottom for the next chapter doesn’t los the next chapter anymore and now you have to go to the chapter list and manually click the next chapter. Kind of a pain when reading like 100+ chapters.

There are time when no matter how fast my internet is the page won’t load…. It takes a lot of time to open or the page just dies..

To be honest, not bad at all for a free app

great selection and programming - however very many ads and to permanently remove them is a bit pricey

Only issue is that you can't group genres together when searching but overall pretty nice

Everything is good except 15 bucks ad removal. If I have to pay 15 I would expect the app to work better (I need to go back to the main page and select next chapter instead of just press next buttons which exist but doesn’t work 😑).

only reason why it's not 5 stars is because there is an ad everytime i finish a chapter... which is like 11 pages and i read through that ever minute!! the more ads i get the less interested i am in the app😩 which is ashame because i usually don't like anime or reading but this app is awesome
