Nestle Toll House is voluntarily recalling two batches of its cookie dough because they may have wood pieces in them.
The recall involves Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough “break and bake” bars that were produced on April 24 and 25, 2023, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Customers who have bought the product with batch codes 311457531K and 311557534K are being urged not to prepare or consume the product. They are instead encouraged to return the product to the retailer for a replacement or a refund.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported in relation to this recall, and no other varieties of Nestle Toll House cookie products were involved in the recall.
Customers with questions or concerns about the recall are encouraged to call Nestlé USA at 800-681-1678 on Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. EST.
