NEW YORK -- A new Duane Reade located on New York City's Upper West Side is adding to the typical drug store lineup by offering beer at its Brew York City counter.
At the Brew York City service counter customers can purchase a growler of beer -- a 64-ounce screw top glass jug. Customers can also bring their own growler to be filled by a store employee, as reported by DNAinfo.com. The Duane Reade stocks craft beers including Founders Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale, Ithaca Apricot Wheat and Sixpoint Sweet Action.
Set up like a bar, Brew York City can be found across from the chips aisle. Each growler sells for $7.99. It in sign of the times, Brew York City also has it owns Twitter feed so followers can keep up with free sample offers and menu changes, the article added.
