I popped into Inner Secrets Lingerie for a fitting with professionally trained corsetiere Roxy who gave me the low-down on wearing premium shapewear like Magic Bodyfashion. When it comes to shapewear, it’s important to have the garments fitted by a trained professional who can assist you in finding the right size and solution for you. I tried on the Magic Bodyfashion ForEveryone Hi-Brief (R1,099) and the ForEveryone Be Pretty Tummy Squeezer Lace panties (R699).
The ForEveryone Tummy Squeezer helps to shape your tummy and your bum, giving you the confidence to wear any outfit. With special lace-trimmed seams, and smooth breathable fabric, this beautiful boyshort-style underwear is completely invisible under your clothing. It’s super comfortable and the material is breathable and doesn’t make you feel too warm, like other shapewear options on the market.
Made with lightweight fabrics the ForEveryone Hi-Brief has a high waist design and powerful bonded panels for a strong shaping effect. The fully bonded panels are built-in at the waist, sides, and back of the Hi-Brief to provide an extra firm yet comfortable fit. The silicone trim at the top of the waistband ensures the brief stays perfectly in place.
The brief gives you an ultra-smooth and invisible fit under your clothes and is surprisingly comfortable. Since my fitting with Roxy I’ve worn this shapewear under a number of outfits from my wardrobe and absolutely loved the effect.
