  • Old Bay seasoning

In the meantime, prepare the spicy Cajun butter sauce. The last step is to combine the boiled shrimp, potatoes, corn and smoked sausage with the Cajun butter sauce. Voila, dinner is done.

Cooking Tips

  • I don’t recommend using Zatarain’s seasoning as I find it too salty.
  • It takes practically 1 minute to cook medium-sized shrimp in hot boiling water. Do not overcook the shrimp or they will turn rubbery and tasteless.
  • Add Cajun butter sauce to add extra flavors to the dish.

Can I Make It in Oven?

Yes, you can make this recipe in an oven by using a sheet pan.

Just mix all the ingredients together with the seasonings and spices. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 10-12 minutes or until the shrimp and corn are cooked through.
