Tower of God Season 2, Episode #6 Confirms Viole's Past to Wangnan
Tower of God has had some exciting developments recently, like Ja Wangnan and Jue Viole Grace consolidating a team to climb the tower, while the focus begins to shift, leading to the release of season 2, episode #6. The story left many questions from season 1 unanswered until episode #5, when Khun resurfaces with plans to build a team and climb the Tower. However, due to another surprising reappearance from Rachel, the ire of fans everywhere is stoked as anticipation builds for Tower of God season 2, episode #6.
Rachel's betrayal of Bam at the end of season 1 prompts much of the current plot's progression in Tower of God, namely, how Bam has radically changed and become more taciturn and intimidating. This, combined with the startling style change from seasons 1 to 2, has promoted discussions about what makes the series unique versus how it adapts the story.
But as the anime continues to adapt the events of the webtoon, it's clear that season 2 of Tower of God's worldbuilding over style differences will make the next episodes truly take off.

What Happened in Tower of God Season 2, Episode #5?
It's Just as Relevant as Ever to Hate Rachel
Tower of God season 2, episode #5 opens where episode #4 left off, reuniting viewers with Khun once more as he meets with a prospective recruit, Edin Dan. Khun tests Dan before ultimately bringing him into the fold, including taking him to his hideout (by force), where he also keeps a surprising guest, Rachel. While caring for Rachel as she appears to be unable to walk, Khun privately voices his firm belief that Rachel is the one who killed Bam, unaware that Bam survived the incident. Unsurprisingly, Rachel is also lying about her condition.
Dan, meanwhile, meets Shibisu and learns more about Khun's expectations as a recruit while eventually going on a training exercise with the other recruits. Here, Dan meets Apple, Michael the Missionary, Gyetang the Spear Bearer, and Ran the Fisherman. Gyetang's aspirations upon joining catch Dan's attention, though, wishing to meet Princess Endorsi, one of the iconic members of Bam's team from season 1. But the exercise commences, where the pecking order is decided for the team, with Dan promptly being crushed by Shibisu and Ran, while Ran takes the top spot.
As the team composition is sorted for Khun's recruits, the focus shifts back to Viole's team, as Yihwa continues to distrust him as a FUG slayer. She even follows him to a karaoke bar, where she encounters an impostor holding up none other than Hwaryun while calling himself Jue Viole Grace, not knowing the real Viole is nearby. This meeting of FUG's members with Yihwa will soon prompt the truth to emerge about Viole's past, helping quell concerns about Tower of God season 2.
Tower of God Season 2, Episode #6 Confirms Viole's Past to Wangnan
As Tower of God season 2, episode #6 will cover the events of the manhwa's season 2, chapter #27-onward, fans can eagerly anticipate the truth behind Viole's identity being revealed to Ja Wangnan and the team. This includes details about his status as an Irregular, his reasoning for being a FUG slayer, and bringing up whether his newfound allies are up to the task alongside him. For fans of season 1, Hwaryun connecting the dots with Wangnan and his crew is greatly appreciated as the series continues to bridge the gap between story arcs.
The Tower of God manhwa can be read on Line Webtoon.
But this will generate friction between Viole and Wangnan, as Viole becomes a FUG slayer "because he must kill Jahad, not because he wanted to." It gives the organization leverage to use him and will only open more doors in the story. But still, the biggest, simplest confirmation about Viole's true identity will be a pleasant relief for viewers.
Don't miss Tower of God season 2, episode #6, when it releases on August 11.
