Trump shares dark video and announces morning press conference (2024)

Former President Trump released an ominous 35-second black-and-white video calling on Americans to stand with him after a Manhattan jury found him guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in what he called a “rigged” trial.

“This is the final battle. With you at my side, we will demolish the deep state. We will expel the warmongers from our government. We will drive out the globalists; we will cast out the communists, Marxists, and fascists. We will throw off the sick political class that hates our country,” Trump says in the video.“We will rout the fake news media. And we will liberate America from these villains once and for all.”

Unfortunately for Democrats and their third-world kangaroo court, the first-ever felony conviction of a former president does not prevent Trump from being elected president in November — on that note, Tucker Carlson responded to the verdict by saying: “This won’t stop Trump. He’ll win the election if he’s not killed first.”

The case to “get Trump” was more about affecting the election than it was about so-called justice. The presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee faces sentencing in July, just before the Republican National Convention. Prison time is a possibility and while that’s unlikely after the 2020 election, you cannot rule anything out.

Trump wasted no time appealing to the passions of those sickened over the miscarriage of justice. In fact, the call for support resulted in the Trump campaign fundraising page crashing shortly after the decision in under 12 hours from a jury in one of the most blue districts in America.

Trump spoke to the media briefly after the verdict to declare, “This is far from over.”

“This was a disgrace. This was a rigged trial by a conflicted judge who was corrupt. It’s a rigged trial. A disgrace,” the nation’s 45th president said. “They wouldn’t give us a venue change. We were at 5% or 6% in this district in this area. This was a rigged disgraceful trial, that the real verdict is gonna be November 5th by the people. And they know what happened here — everybody knows what happened here.”

“You have a [George] Soros-backed DA and the whole thing, we didn’t do a thing wrong. I’m a very innocent man and it’s ok,” Trump continued. “I’m fighting for our country, fighting for our constitution. Our whole country is being rigged right now. This was done by the Biden administration in order to wound or hurt an opponent, a political opponent.”

On that note, Trump will get plenty of agreement. While the media has run cover for the White House throughout the trial, The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway shared a piece from New York Post columnist Miranda Devine noting that Matthew Colangelo, a former DNC political consultant, “left his job as third-ranking official in Biden’s DOJ in December 2022 to take a lesser job in Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s office as senior counsel in the criminal case against Trump.”

“And I think it’s just a disgrace and we’ll keep fighting, we’ll fight till the end and we will win because our country has gone to hell,” Trump said. “We don’t have the same country anymore. We have a divided mess. We are a nation in decline. Serious decline, millions and millions of people pouring into our country right now from prisons and from mental institutions, terrorists and they’re taking over our country, we have a country that’s in big trouble.”

“But this was a rigged decision right from day one with a conflicted judge who should have never been allowed to try this case. Never,” he concluded. “And we will fight for our constitution. This is long from over.”
