The numbers alone don't mean much and apart from a few possibilities, don't reveal individual problems. The doctor uses these numbers when he looks at the waves on an EKG. He can tell more from the shape of the waves. So, you'll have to see your doctor to interpret the EKG.

There are no doctors here ... There are a few things I can pick out of some EKGs ... most I have to say "see your doctor". In this case the guidance is in the top right ...

Sinus bradycardia ... which says your heart rate is very slow and yes 43 bpm is definitely slow and unless you're a highly trained athlete it would suggest you aren't getting enough oxygen to your brain and possibly getting dizzy or light headed from time to time and low on energy.

Normal variant of ECG means it has noted the slow heart rate as a normal variant but nothing else to trigger an automated notation.

The one thing of note is an unusual QT wave segment ... but this is why there's the "corrected" number to compensate for the slow heart rate which brings it into a more typical range.

So, to this untrained eye, the only thing of concern is your low heart rate ... and your doctor will try to correct that possibly with a pacemaker to raise the minimum heart rate.

So, a pacemaker is the only way to get rid of Sinus Bradycardia? Ive never had symptoms of these. The only reason it was brought up to me is because my future pladtic surgeon wanted me to get tested for Hypothyroidism which came back negative. Im not olympian. I dont have anothed doctor appointment until next month thats why i am on these forums. Thank you. Oh, are you AI or Human?

I am very much human 😊 And tell bad jokes and all! How does an elephant hide in a cherry tree? He paints his toenails red.

No, a pacemaker isn't the only way, if they can identify the cause of the slow heart rate, there may be other treatments.

That said, if your heart rate has ALWAYS been low and you have no other symptoms, then it may be totally normal and fine for you.

You're going to have to discuss the results of your EKG with your doctor ... the numbers printed on the EKG that you've quoted only tell a small part of the story. The shape of the waves is the real revealer on the EKG. The machine's analysis is basically telling the doctor to consider these items as possibilities and check them out further.

What yours is suggesting is that you may have had a heart attack (infarction) and / or you have blockages in the arteries that provide blood to the heart muscle itself (ischemia)

We aren't doctors here, so we can't really tell you much more than that. Sorry.

Good luck!
