I’ve been going to Mai Nails since they’ve opened, I’ve always had great service! I have referred many now customers there, have received great customer service, nail services ect. Recently going in I needed my shellac removed they were extremely busy, when I walked in the receptionist rudely greeted me with “were busy what do you need” i said I needed my shellac removed and she insisted they were extremely busy and couldn’t get me in. I wasn’t offered a time to come back or how long I would need to wait there to get it removed- I left. I left upset about the way I was treated being a good/loyal customer. I debated on going back because of this. I chose to go back because I have other than that time received good service. I had an appointment for a shellac manicure and the lady was very nice but never asked me how I wanted the shape ect. The shellac is very thick (suppose to be thin) not the shape I get, very bumpy, uneven and has random bubbles in shellac! I only wanted a shellac color change and it was $27 which I thought was expensive for a color change without the manicure part as I still had the shellac on my nails I didn’t get removed the first time going in. I love the salon and wish the last few times were different as i may not be going back.

I’ve been going to this salon for years. My nails always look great when finished and my powder dips usually last 3 weeks. I do have favorite nail techs but all are friendly. Have had many techs for pedis and always have great service. I do book early in the day so wait times aren’t an issue.Pedicure,Manicure,Nail art

My mom and I went to get my nails done yesterday. I called to make an appointment for 4pm. When we got there, the owner informed us that it’s going to be 20-30 minutes, but they’ll get us in. We were fine with that as they were short a couple of nail techs and we understand that things happen. Well, we didn’t get in until 4:50pm which was fine. My mom had Nori and I had Tina. My mom’s nails weren’t like she wanted them, but they were decent. But mine are horrible. I don’t like them at all. The color isn’t what I chose. The shape isn’t what I wanted. There are bumps, some parts are thin and others are thick. All of my nails on my left hand are longer than the ones on my right hand. Not to mention that when Tina was doing my cuticles, she cut me and made me bleed. We get our nails done every 2 weeks and the nail salon we normally go to was booked, so I decided to give them a shot, even though, I didn’t like it when I went there before. And that was a mistake on my part. Also, I paid for a manicure and all she did was cut my cuticles. Maybe, other nail techs there are good, but I definitely don’t recommend Tina. She was very rude when I would try to speak up about my concerns as well.

I was a repeat customer coming in every 2-3 weeks for a dip manicure and had not experienced any issues. This last dip manicure was absolutely terrible. A manicure that should at least last two weeks, began chipping within a few days. I came in 5 days after my manicure to have my nails fixed since over half of them were chipped. Jenni the receptionist was incredibly rude which was not surprising since she usually is to anyone with a complaint. Quan then stepped in and acted as if he would fix all of my nails. Quan ended up being just as disrespectful. He did not fix my nails, he instead filed them down and superglued the dip to my natural nails. When expressing my disappointment with how my nails were being fixed he became very short and made sure to let me know the bad manicure was likely my fault and I just don’t know how to take care of them (I have been getting dip for several years and never had an issue like this). He also let me know “his clients” have been waiting while he “quickly fixed” my nails. I did not want a quick fix, I simply wanted an apology and my nails fixed from the botched job I had received a few days ago. You think people in a service industry would have some customer service skills, but unfortunately you are easily replaced by the next customer and they do not care to fix their mistakes. I will not be returning.
